Aston Martin has once again overtaken the world of convertible cars, with its new DBS Super Legacy Volante convertible, which offers an ultimate GT driving experience.

The new model combines the three exceptional names in the history of the brand, captivating the sensations of the super-famous Super GT, the DBS Super Legera - and combining it with the leading convertible technology in its class.

DBS Superleggera Volante is the second model launched by Aston Martin and named 'Volante' after the company's ambitious plan to expand the 'Second Century Plan'.

The car is designed within the company's factories under the direct supervision and guidance of Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Creative Director of the British Luxury Vehicle brand. In order to develop the most spectacular Volante cars in the history of the brand, Aston Martin maintained the strong dynamic characteristics of the Coupe, focusing on improving its stunning performance and daring design.

Commenting on the launch, Maric Reichmann, Executive Vice President and Creative Director at Aston Martin, said: "DBS Super Legera has a remarkable performance; in Volanti we focused on achieving the extra level of sensual splendor that can only be provided In the interior of the Super GT convertible. With unique dynamic touches, a blend of beauty and vibes, and the impressive 5.2-liter V-Aston Martin V12 engine, we believe we have been able to provide a unique driving experience that is in line with the tradition of 'Volante'.

The heart of the DBS Superleggera Volante is powered by the Aston Martin V12 with a 5.2-liter twin turbocharger that produces 715 hp and 900 Nm torque to a maximum speed of 211 mph with breathtaking acceleration.

The car accelerates from 0-62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and 0-100 mph in 6.7 seconds, giving the DPS Superleggera Volante the absolute advantage in terms of gear placement, where the acceleration is 50-100 miles / Hour in the fourth gear in 4.2 seconds.

The DPS Superleggera Volante is also featured in the unique aerodynamics of the Coupe, which controls airflow on the surface of the car to maximize aerodynamics.

The front air diffuser and air bumper work in perfect harmony, accelerating the airflow under the front of the vehicle to provide real compressive power and help to cool by directing the air to the front brakes.

The new and deeper side panels pull more air from the front wheel bracket to reduce lift and help keep the vehicle at high speeds.

The 'curved air vents' are located behind the front wheels to allow smooth airflow and flow along the sides of the vehicle, while the dual air diffuser at the rear allows for air to exit and neutralize lift effect as efficiently as possible.

Modified to conform to the Volanti roofline, the enhanced Airbus II-II air diffuser continues to provide additional compressive force at the rear of the vehicle.

At its maximum speed, the DPS Superleggera Volante produces a compressive force of 177 kg, just 3 kg less than the coupe, which is a remarkable achievement when considering the radical changes in the aerodynamics achieved in the car.

Each dynamic driving position is characterized by a special level of roar, which enhances the interactive nature of the vehicle and increases the driver's connection to the driving experience. The roar of the engine appears to be low in GT mode, gradually becoming louder with the 'Sport' or 'Sport Plus' modes.

On the other hand, those who want to drive the car quietly can choose the 'quiet operation', which provides a quiet alternative to the mighty sound of the engine 'DBS Superleggera Volante' when running in the normal situation.

The engine offers torque of 900 Nm across a carbon fiber management shaft to a sophisticated eight-speed ZF transmission installed at the rear of the vehicle.

This shift to adapt to the large torque produced by the V12 engine has been enhanced to have a shorter endurance to increase response and acceleration within a single vehicle. The software developed and adapted specifically monitors the surrounding conditions of the vehicle, as well as the driver's requirements, to ensure that the vehicle uses optimal gear in a timely manner.

The name 'Volante' is associated with convertible cars with the famous Aston Martin wings logo, and the open roof is the flagship of the Volante cars. The luxury fabrics used in the car contribute to the elegant and innovative identity of the roof.

The roof consists of eight layers of improved insulating materials. The roof plays an important role in enhancing the comfort of all passengers in the cabin when the roof is closed.

The car's transmission range gives you an unmistakable sound, which is a hallmark of the Volante experience, and the DBS Super Legacy Volante is usually tuned to provide amazing sound quality that has always been synonymous with the super-GT Aston Martin '.

Thanks to the four-wheel exhaust system, the DBS Superleggera Volante offers a superb original sound that no car has ever seen before.

Aston Martin engineers have worked hard to ensure the best possible use of the roof and luggage compartment while maintaining the perfect balance between elegance and durability.

Thanks to its unprecedented 260 mm roof thickness, the DBS Super Legacy Volante keeps the rear-wheel-drive sleek and enhances the luggage compartment capacity. The opening of the roof takes 14 seconds and 16 seconds to close and can be carried out from inside the car or via a remote control within a radius of two meters from the car.

Tested in the harshest conditions, ranging from the free flame in the Valley of Death to the severe cold in the Arctic Circle during the development process, the roof mechanism has passed more than 100,000 cycles. The functional capacity of the roof mechanism has passed a one-month test in which the experience was simulated for 10 years.

Emphasizing Aston Martin's determination to deliver high levels of customization, the DBS Superleggera Volante is available in eight different colors including Red Bordeaux, Atlantic Blue, and Gray Titan Gray.

The hood can be customized more internally with six Roccona linings. For the first time in the Volante, Aston Martin introduced the window frame with carbon fiber finishes in a 2x2 design, with the option of extending this design to cover the rear seat and rear waterway.

Large pieces of woven carbon fibers were used instead of leather, and for the most distinctive specifications, carbon fiber paint is available.

Speaking about DBS Superleggera Volante, Andy Palmer, President, and CEO of Aston Martin Lagonda, said: "The Aston Martin V12 engine boasts an unprecedented veneer in the automotive world. I believe that 'DBS Superleggera Volante' provides one of the greatest interactive experiences in the automotive world. The car provides compelling proof of the non-bargaining methodology adopted by our engineers and designers to develop this Super GT convertible. With exceptional performance and attractive design, DBS Super Legera deserved to win the hearts and minds of Super GT enthusiasts around the world, while Volanti advanced to the next level.

The price of the DPS Superleggera Volante is £ 24,7500 (the proposed price includes taxes) in the UK; € 295,500 (the proposed price includes taxes) in Germany; and $ 329,100 (the manufacturer's proposed retail price includes the Gansler tax imposed On fuel-crazed vehicles) * in the USA.
